This non-structural interior panel can be utilised for boxing in pipework and cupboard/wardrobe backing. White-faced hardboard is a strong engineered panel with a decorative smooth face. Highly versatile, it can be used in many applications, such as floor lining and furniture backing.

White Hardboard Sheet Applications

White hardboard, also known as high-density fibreboard (HDF), is a light versatile panel commonly installed as floor covering and the levelling of old floorboards.

This HDF has a clean, attractive white face making it ideal for joinery jobs like furniture making, shelving and bookcases. The boards can be fixed with a variety of pins, nails or screws.

White Hardboard Installation 

White melamine MDF can be fixed with both glue and screws. It is compatible with most adhesives, paints and veneers and can be easily wiped clean.

White Hardboard Storage & Handling

Hardboard is just as vulnerable to moisture as any other wood product. Rain or humidity may cause the boards to expand or warp, which might alter their appearance and reduce structural integrity.

For this reason, we advise that you store the boards indoors in a cool and dry environment. 

What Is The Purpose of White Hardboard? 

The smooth white face of this hardboard offers a decorative finish, eradicating the need for paint. This white face, however, can also provide a bright base upon which to paint another colour.
